A personal cabinet of material memories

Depot Sauvage is an independent vintage archive based in France.

Developed during my studies in textile design and technology, the project reflects a longstanding fascination with textiles, natural fibers, aged materials, tailoring, and garments that carry a strong sense of presence over time.

The archive brings together both iconic designer pieces and lesser-known clothing from French, Italian, and Japanese makers, selected for their construction, texture, silhouette, and emotional quality rather than labels alone.

Many of the pieces featured are chosen for quiet details: unusual fabrics, worn patina, forgotten manufacturers, hand feel, or the way a garment drapes and evolves with age.

Packaging is intentionally simple and assembled using reclaimed textiles, vintage ribbons, recycled materials, and handmade archival elements whenever possible.

Depot Sauvage is conceived as an evolving textile archive, somewhere between a wardrobe, a study collection, and a personal cabinet of material memories.
