Exceptional, very rare vintage French brand two-piece set from the late 1990s. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece, unlikely to ever find its way into our hands again.
Top / jacket:
-Semi-sheer, lightweight crinkled "gauze-like" fabric top -Very unique high gathered collar with multiple ties, that allow the collar to be worn different ways -Irregular, asymmetrical hem -Rectangular buttons -Shoulder pads (can easily be removed if needed) -Contrasting oval black satin appliqués, with the same material as the skirt -Unlined
Skirt:
-Matching full-length skirt with three dimensional permanent pleats and crinkles -Large oval and circular black gauze appliqués, with the same material as the top -Concealed back zipper closure -Back slit -Fully lined
Both items are in excellent vintage condition, with very minor signs of wear consistent with the pieces being almost 30 years old. Please refer to the photographs for more info on condition, as they are part of the description.
Tagged size: 42 (French size) Please review the measurements carefully before purchasing, as vintage sizes can differ from modern standards. Measurements are taken with garment laying flat. Material has no stretch.
